Detailed Review
The Remington 700 XCR is a high-end rifle designed for both hunting and long-range shooting. It features a sleek, matte black finish on the barrel and receiver, as well as a reinforced synthetic stock that is impervious to all kinds of weather conditions. The XCR also comes equipped with a number of features that make it one of the most reliable and accurate rifles on the market today.
One of the standout features of the Remington 700 XCR is its TriNyte Corrosion Control System. This system provides an extra layer of protection to the rifle's metal components, making them highly resistant to rust, corrosion, and other forms of wear and tear. This is especially important for hunters who frequently spend long periods of time outdoors in wet or damp conditions.
The XCR also features a free-floated barrel, which means that it is not attached to the stock at any point along its length. This eliminates any interference between the barrel and the stock, resulting in a more consistent and accurate shot. Additionally, the barrel itself is made from stainless steel and features a fluted design that reduces weight and improves cooling.
Another key feature of the Remington 700 XCR is its adjustable trigger. This trigger can be customized to suit the shooter's preferences, with a range of pull weights available between 3.5 and 5 pounds. This level of precision ensures that the shooter can take accurate shots with minimal trigger finger movement.
In terms of accuracy, the Remington 700 XCR is able to shoot 1 MOA (minute of angle) or better right out of the box. This makes it a highly reliable option for long-range shooting, whether you're hunting big game or simply looking to hit targets at extreme distances.
Overall, the Remington 700 XCR is a top-of-the-line rifle that offers exceptional reliability, accuracy, and versatility. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a long-range shooting enthusiast, this rifle is sure to impress.

I was at the gun store the other day and held one of these. The guy called it “The police model, why you ask? Because its heavy, its designed to be shot from a fixed or prone position. Its much to heavy to hump around while hunting.” He rolled into showin

April 11, 2013just picked up what appears to be a XCR Tactical Long Range in 300 Win mag. It’s got the stock, the trigger and the fluted barrel but the bolt isn’t done in the nitrate finish nor does the receiver say “tactical”. The serial # reflects a 2006 manufacture
