For the money you can't beat this shotgun. It does everything you would want it to do as a defensive shotgun. I would recommend that novices take a shotgunning course to get the most out of this shotgun.

Exactly what I expected. The 590A1 is already a solid platform and purchasing with the furniture and sights I'd put on myself already installed was great. Fit and finish as expected. Shortened the pull and added the cheek riser, love the Magpul furniture

I am very happy with the two 590A1s that I ordered. The Magpul buttstock is extremely easy to adjust and the semi-pistolgrip feels very natural in my hand. The XS Ghost Ring/AR-Style sights make target acquisition a breeze and they are very easy to shoot.
