The rifle worked very well on the range and was very accurate at 100 yards even with the front sight being just a tad off center. The rear sight shifts slightly from recoil and where the forearm meets the receiver is rough and doesn't have a quality round

I have had my Marlin 1894 357 Mag since 1982. The only load that it jams with is the full wadcutter 38 special, it is too short for the action to function. Semi wadcutters in 38 special and 357 mag work perfect in it. I mounted a 1 X 4 variable Leupold sc
