About FN FS2000
The FN FS2000 Tactical is a compact, reliable and accurate semi-auto only carbine with a 17.4" civilian-legal barrel and is suitable for security, personal defense or competition. The gas-operated system fires a wide variety of 223 Rem. (5.56x45mm NATO) ammunition fed from standard M16-style magazines. Fired cases are ejected through a forward port away from the operator. The FS2000 sports both adjustable auxiliary iron sights and a top-mounted M1913 rail for mounting optical, electronic or laser sighting systems. An angled-face muzzle brake helps minimize recoil.

Detailed Review
The FN FS2000 is a bullpup design rifle that was first introduced in 2001. The rifle is manufactured by the Belgian firearms company FN Herstal and is used by military and law enforcement agencies worldwide. The FS2000 is a versatile rifle that is ideal for close-quarters combat as well as long-range shooting.
The rifle features a unique ergonomically designed enlarged trigger guard that enables the user to comfortably operate the weapon with gloved hands. The FS2000 has ambidextrous controls, including the magazine release, bolt release, and safety. This feature makes it suitable for both right and left-handed shooters.
The FS2000 has a compact design due to its bullpup configuration. The rifle's action is located behind the trigger group, which shortens the overall length of the rifle without reducing the barrel length. The rifle has a 17.44-inch barrel length and weighs 7.58 pounds.
The rifle is chambered for the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge and has a magazine capacity of 30 rounds. The rifle also uses STANAG magazines, which are interchangeable with other rifles that use this type of magazine. This feature provides the user with flexibility in ammunition selection.
The FS2000 has a gas-operated system that uses a rotating bolt. The rifle has a unique ejection system that expels spent casings out of the front of the rifle rather than the side, which reduces the risk of hitting other shooters nearby.
The rifle's accuracy is enhanced by its free-floating barrel, which eliminates pressure on the barrel from the stock. Additionally, the rifle has an adjustable gas regulator that can be tuned to match the ammunition being used by the shooter.
The FS2000 has a Picatinny rail system that runs along the top of the rifle, making it easy to mount accessories such as scopes, red dot sights, or lasers. There are also additional accessory rails located on the sides and bottom of the rifle for mounting other attachments.
The rifle has a unique integrated carrying handle that doubles as a sight system. The sight system features a front post and an aperture rear sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation. The integrated carrying handle/sight system can be removed and replaced with other optic mounts such as a Picatinny rail or a scope mount.
In conclusion, the FN FS2000 is a reliable and versatile rifle suitable for a variety of applications. Its unique design features, such as its bullpup configuration, ambidextrous controls, and ejection system, make it a popular choice among military and law enforcement personnel. Its accuracy, customization options, and ease of use make it an excellent choice for civilian shooters as well.

I bought this because it looked cool. Turns out to be the best, most accurate rifle I've ever owned. A lot of smack talk about the trigger, but I LOVE the trigger. It is better than the $200 one on my AR-15 (it pulls straight back, like a 1911, which I li

December 9, 2015I would say the FS2000, it is much more ergonomic and convenient. But if you do not like to adapt to new features, then I suppose you might like the Tavor Rifle
