Detailed Review

The Charter Arms Undercover Lite 53890 is a small, lightweight revolver designed for concealed carry. It features a 2-inch barrel and a five-shot cylinder, with an overall length of just 6.75 inches and a weight of only 12 ounces.

The frame of the Undercover Lite is made from aircraft-grade aluminum, which makes it both strong and lightweight. The cylinder and barrel are made from stainless steel, which provides corrosion resistance and durability. The grip is made from rubber and features finger grooves, providing a comfortable and secure grip.

One of the standout features of the Undercover Lite is its double-action-only (DAO) trigger. This means that the hammer is not exposed and must be manually cocked before firing each shot. This system provides a consistent trigger pull for each shot, which can increase accuracy and reliability.

The Undercover Lite also features a fixed front sight and a groove rear sight, which allows for quick target acquisition. The revolver also has a transfer bar safety, which prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully depressed.

In terms of performance, the Undercover Lite is chambered in .38 Special, which is a popular choice for self-defense due to its moderate recoil and stopping power. It is also capable of firing +P rounds, which provides even more stopping power if needed. The cylinder release is smooth and easy to operate, allowing for quick and efficient reloading.

Overall, the Charter Arms Undercover Lite 53890 is a reliable and lightweight revolver that is ideal for concealed carry. Its small size and lightweight design make it easy to carry all day, while its durable construction and consistent trigger pull make it a dependable choice for self-defense.

I purchased the goldfinger a few days ago. Buds Gun Shop did not mess around about the shipping and sent it (arrived in 2 days) to my local pick up point. It is a unique looking gun, but it was not finished anywhere like a Smith &Wesson are even a Taurus!
