About The .450 SMC Ammo was launched in the late 2000s and was similar to the .45 Super. The main difference was that this cartridge used a small rifle primer which allowed more brass into the cartridge to provide it with more strength. Despite getting discontinued and fading away, the .450 SMC Ammo is now commercially available in the markets. The .450 SMC Ammo uses a small magnum primer rather than the primer of a standard pistol cartridge which provides plenty of ignition power. Small primer means more brass at the base of the bullet, meaning more strength to the case.
