For those wanting a load utilizing an expanding bullet that penetrates very deeply, this is it. This lead free, all copper Barnes TAC-XP bullet will penetrate better in flesh and bone. Buffalo Bore is utilizing a flash retarded powder in these loads, so the vision of the shooter will not be significantly impaired after the first shot. In small cartridge casings such as 40S&W, 9mm, 380Auto, 357 Sig, etc., these long-for-weight all copper bullets crowd precious and limited powder capacity, requiring Buffalo Bore to load the bullet to lower velocities. Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.
