Rifles Descriptions

BCM Hunter Bench Rest

HUNTER BENCH REST - Rifles specifically born with the aim to excel in Hunter Bench Rest class (or Open, according to the name given by the circuit). They are basically Bench rest rifles, with those structural limits given by their class, i.e. 17 mm muzzle diameter (even though they have constant conic tapered contour for a better structural stiffness). Its final weight not overtake 4,8 kg. Usually there are specific imposed limitations to optics enlargement, but the light outline of the weapon (also thanks to the Mc Millan Edge stock) allows the assembling of powerful (and usually heavy) variable optics. So it can facilitate the strong enlargements in order to decide about different reloads or even to compete in the free enlargement classes, where the rifle can be a success for its intrinsic precision. In order to decrease weight, and not being weapons for long range shooting that usually need advantaged bases, buyer is provided with Ergal rings with ring base and lower integral half ring .They are incredibly solid and extremely light. Jewell BR (doubtless quality pack) is used as a trigger. The barrels are all best choice quality between Border, Pac-Nor or Broughton trade marks.
