308 - 110 Grain V-MAX - Federal Varmint & Predator - 20 Rounds

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” We regard some creatures very highly: the dog for the companionship it provides, the horse for its work ethic, and the cat because...it’s...cats are good too, we guess. Other animals who tear up our vegetable patches and steal our chickens have curried less of our collective favor over the years. For such pests Federal makes their Varmint & Predator line of ammunition. This 308 Win cartridge features Hornady’s 110 grain V-MAX projectile. Its polymer tip sits perched on the rim of its copper jacket and extends into a precisely formed well in its swaged lead core. Upon impact it accumulates great energy before initiating ruinous fragmentation that no woodchuck or coyote is durable enough to withstand the effect of. The V-MAX has got the accuracy needed to seek out such wily game. Its sharp tip, optimized bearing surface, uniformly distributed core, and concentric jacket all lend themselves to an exceptional ballistic coefficient. Federal’s precise brass casing, uniform propellant charge, and sensitive primer contribute to great accuracy as well.
