300 AAC Blackout - 220 Grain OTM Subsonic - Black Hills - 20 Rounds

One of the neat things about the 300 AAC Blackout is the bigger bullet it’s able to seat on its casing. So hefty a bullet is a great way to reduce the rifle’s muzzle velocity to the subsonic level, which is where suppressors are at their most effective. This round by Black Hills is a perfect choice for any rifle equipped with a suppressor -- or even a silencer if that’s what you’d rather call it! This cartridge ends in a 220 grain open tip match projectile. While this round’s trajectory may taper off a little quicker downrange, its bullet’s even meplat and consistently dense lead core do a great job keeping a shot on the straight and narrow path. The bullet’s strong metal jacket will keep deformation from impacting accuracy as well. Black Hills has been making great ammo since the Hoffmans founded it in 1981. That they’ve won over the Army and regularly provide to them is a real feather in their cap, although we doubt the Army is stocking up on vast quantities of 300 AAC Blackout at the moment.
