Shotguns Descriptions

20 Gauge - 3" 1-1/2oz. #9 Shot - Federal Heavyweight TSS - 5 Rounds

#9 shot may seem like an unconventional choice for turkey hunting, but when it’s Federal’s Heavyweight TSS shot it’s more than enough to get the job done right. Because the special tungsten alloy this shot is made of is 56 percent more dense than lead (and 22 percent denser than standard tungsten, for that matter), this shot is able to deliver a substantial punch upon impact, even over greater distances. Furthermore, smaller pellets mean that Federal is able to pack more of them into the shell, so you’ll have an ample spread that will overwhelm even the most rugged tom in the woods. This shell’s FliteControl Flex wad delivers a tight pattern from a shotgun fitted with either a standard or ported turkey choke, and is full-length to keep your bore safe from the hard shot pellets. The shell’s roll crimp and clear card wad serve to keep its buffering securely in place until you’re ready to fire it as well. As a nice bonus, Federal donates a portion of the profits they make from this box of hard-hitting shells to the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Browning Maxus Sporting

MAXIMUM RELIABILITY. MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. Thats why it was the first priority when we set about developing the Browning Maxus. The Power Drive Gas System is designed to perform under harsh hunting and shooting conditions with a wide array of loads. But reliability isnt the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44% less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24% faster locktime than the nearest competitor. Unequalled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.
