Shotguns Descriptions
20 Gauge - 2-3/4" 7/8oz. #8 Shot - Federal Field & Range - 250 Rounds
Tired of needing two different types of 20 Gauge ammunition depending on whether you’re hunting upland game or clay pigeons? Federal’s Field & Range shotshell delivers everything you need to do both out of just one hull! This shell is loaded with 7/8 ounces of shot, so it is acceptable for sporting clays and trap according to all those sports’ respective rule books. Tiny #8 shot pellets serve up a tight and effective pattern for cracking a clay, but they are no less effective at downing the smallest upland birds. This shell’s hard shot is deformation resistant to ensure a narrower pattern, and its Triple Plus wad prevents abrasion of the bore before it cuts down on flyaway pellets that weaken pattern efficiency. Field & Range shells are designed to efficiently seal propellant gasses during ignition to promote reliable ballistics, cushioned to reduce felt recoil, and resilient enough to withstand the trials of cold weather. This non-corrosive ammo’s eight-segment crimped low-brass hulls are reloadable.
