Shotguns Descriptions
12 Gauge - 2-3/4" 8 Pellets 000 Buckshot - Winchester Double X - 25 Rounds
Winchester’s Double X 12 Gauge ammunition supplies just about as much stopping power as you could possibly want for hunting deer and hogs. This 2-3/4” shell is loaded with eight pellets of 000 buckshot! That’s not a typo. Most shooters are familiar with 00 buck, which is a 0.33” diameter shot pellet that’s suitable for hunting and law enforcement applications. The 000 buck pellet, on the other hand, is 0.36” in diameter. As the result the triple-aught pellet transfers over 25% more ft lbs of energy when it strikes its target – in addition to gouging out a wider wound channel. Winchester’s hard and perfectly spherical shot pellets pattern densely enough to remain effective over longer distances. Could you use this potent ammo for home defense? Well, we cannot deny that it would be effective, although you could reasonably expect its shot to overpenetrate a human-sized target. As always, be cognizant of bystander safety! This high-brass shell’s fluted tube ends in a tight six-point star crimp that keeps its jumbo-sized buckshot securely in place until you’ve found a good target. Non-corrosive, clean-igniting and made in America!
