Shotguns Descriptions

10 Gauge - 3-1/2" 1-3/4oz. Rifled Hollow Point Slug - Federal Power-Shok - 5 Rounds

This 10 Gauge shell by Federal Power-Shok isn’t powerful. It is power. With its 766 grain slug loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,280 fps, this shell is capable of putting out as much muzzle energy as a 308 Win! The 3-1/2” shell makes good use of all that energy too. With its G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.099 it retains 1,600 ft lbs of energy up until 100 yards, which is still adequate for humane elk hunting. The rifled slug is designed to safely pass through a smoothbore shotgun’s choke, and with its soft lead body and centered hollow point it’s poised to expand tremendously within dense muscle tissue. As the slug fans out it disperses its available energy quickly, while simultaneously leaving a gaping wound channel in its wake. Federal’s high brass head and solid plastic tube are both up to the task of containing so much power. Polished off with fast-burning propellant and a sensitive, non-corrosive primer, this ammo is a great choice for hunting a variety of North American game. Please note that this is a 10 Gauge shell – it will not work in a 12 Gauge shotgun.

Browning Maxus Sporting

MAXIMUM RELIABILITY. MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. Thats why it was the first priority when we set about developing the Browning Maxus. The Power Drive Gas System is designed to perform under harsh hunting and shooting conditions with a wide array of loads. But reliability isnt the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44% less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24% faster locktime than the nearest competitor. Unequalled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.
