Shotguns Descriptions

20 Gauge - 3" 1-1/2oz. #7 Tungsten Shot - Federal Heavyweight TSS - 5 Rounds

Federal’s Heavyweight TSS line of shotgun ammunition is designed to let you keep more distance between you and your turkey – but still drop the gobbler wherever it stands. This 20 Gauge shell holds a heavy 1-1/2 ounce column of shot, even considering that it is 3” long. This is because Federal’s TSS shot is made of tungsten alloy. It is 56 percent more dense than lead, and it is 22 percent denser than regular, unalloyed tungsten. So heavy a pellet of #7 shot strikes its target with extreme energy, even over long distances. That’s why TSS shot is among the best in the turkey hunting business! Shot must still pattern tightly to remain effective at long range. That’s why Federal loads this shell with the FliteControl Flex wad, which is specially designed to keep its shot clustered densely together dozens of yards out. Whether you prefer a standard or ported turkey choke, the FliteControl Flex does an impressive job. This shell’s wad is full-length to keep such extra hard shot from etching the bore. And although it is exceptionally hard and deformation-resistant, TSS retains its sphericity even better courtesy of Federal’s advanced buffering material which absorbs the jarring impact of ignition. A sensitive primer and fast-burning powder charge tend to consistent ballistics, and Federal’s high density hull is outfitted with a clear card wad to keep all these fine components locked in place until the moment of action.

Browning Maxus Hunter

MAXIMUM RELIABILITY. MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. Thats why it was the first priority when we set about developing the Browning Maxus. The Power Drive Gas System is designed to perform under harsh hunting and shooting conditions with a wide array of loads. But reliability isnt the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44% less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24% faster locktime than the nearest competitor. Unequalled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.
