Shotguns Descriptions
12 Gauge - 3 1/2" 2oz. #5/6/7 Shot - Federal 3rd Degree Tungsten - 5 Rounds
This 12 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s 3rd Degree line of shotgun ammunition actually contains three different types of shot, letting it deliver turkey-stopping performance over a great range of distances. Its 40 percent #5 copper plated lead shot, 20 percent FliteStopper #6 lead shot, and 40 percent Heavyweight TSS #7 tungsten alloy shot work together to provide a wide and forgiving pattern up close coupled with lethal performance downrange. When you’re not sure what kind of challenges Mr. Tom is going to throw at you the next time you go into the woods, 3rd Degree will help to level the playing field. This shell delivers a consistent pattern courtesy of Federal’s FliteControl Flex wad, which works in conjunction with either standard or ported turkey choke tubes. The FliteControl Flex wad is also full-length so that it will protect your shotgun’s bore from becoming scoured by hard Heavyweight TSS pellets. An investment in 3rd Degree is also an investment in the turkey itself, because Federal donates a portion of their proceeds to the National Wild Turkey Federation.
